What Causes Persistent Itching And Red Spots Around Anus?

Question: Hi. I experienced a little bit of pain and now just persistent itching around my anus. There are some red spots just above it that I'm not sure what is it. I did have an ingrown hair in my groin area recently that I pulled out with some pus (after it started draining on its own) if that could be of any relation.

Thanks so much. This let me know that it was something serious enough to need my doctor's help and couldnt just treat at home. My doc prescribed oral antibiotic and antifungal cream. Pharmacy was able fill antibiotic but wont have cream until Monday. With these two things coexisting, is it okay to go ahead and start the antibiotic or would it be better to wait until Momday when i can start the cream as well?
