Brief Answer:
Medically known as Coccygodynia

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. The suffering you are going through is medically known as coccygodynia. In most cases it is associated with abnormal mobility of the coccyx which may trigger a chronic inflammatory process leading to degeneration of this structure.

Is there any injury like fall on buttock?

Nonsurgical management remains the gold standard treatment for coccygodynia, consisting of pain killer like Ibuprofen along with decreased sitting, sitzs bath, seat cushioning, stool softener, coccygeal massage, stretching, and manipulation, local injection of steroids or anesthetics, and postural adjustments.

Hope this helps and I shall be glad to answer any further query.
Take care

After I have stopped weight lifting, I am feeling better now. Can I start weight lifting again? There is no injury or fall on buttock. However, I assume lifting the weights while sitting could have caused this problem. Am I right?

Brief Answer:
Gradually increase the weights

Detailed Answer:
Hello
It's good to see you
I have gone through your reply carefully and my suggestions are-
1 . Increase the weights gradually at Gym.
2.To relieve pain, you should have sitz's bath along with Ibuprofen.
3.May sit on a doughnut shape cushion while lifting weights and during prolong sitting.
4.Have bone tonic (sachet calcirol, vitamin D) once a week with a glass of milk for 3 months. Your local pharmacist might know about this product.
Hope this helps.
