![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I have pulled a musle in my shoulder about 4 weeks ago I saw my own doctor he examined it and gave me a cortisone shot that was just last week but I am still in pain? Thank You
Brief Answer:
Can be due to muscle strain and improper healing.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The persistent pain in the area after a cortisone shot can be due to a muscle strain or a frozen shoulder. This can happen due to inadequate rest. You need to take an oral muscle relaxant, take absolute rest, avoid all overhead activities and do a hot compress in the area.
I hope this answers your query.
