What Causes Persistent Pain In The Ribs With Shortness Of Breath And Fatigue?

Question: I need advice as to where I should go for more information about the pain I have been having having for over a year. The pain is located on my left side , directly under my ribs. They have taken numerous blood testes, MRIs, CT scans, X-rays and nothing has been found. I am now going to a pain mgt clinic. He feels it has something to do with my back and the nerve and T 12 disc and the nerve that goes around the stomach and is close to my heart. The Dr has given me 6 shots into my spine to see if they can deaden this nerve. This has not been helpful because he cannot get the injection into my spine because of the condition of my spine. I also have RA. My question is where should I go now for help? The pain is bad and my life style has been changed greatly. Pain all the time, tired, shortness of breath, not able to preform normal life tasks. I am 69 and feel like I have the engery of a 90 year old. I am really over weight, my health is what I would call fair. Any advice would be appreciate. Just to get my life back some would be helpful.

Thanks for your query over health care magic platform. I have read it & understood your concern.I could think of two aspects of your problem... Pain on left side & your overweight .I would suggest to get overall health check up to find causes of these & then get specific treatment.
From this point of view I would like to know about your blood reports/ X ray & MRI conclusions / have you been tested for diabetes, thyroid problems/history of digestive problems/ infections . Treatment you take for your arthritis.& Any other chronic illness you are suffering from.
Given this information I would be allowed to think more specifically & suggest you exact way to manage your problem.
