Brief Answer:
Dehydration, GERD, drugs, sinusitis, sialadenitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM.
I have gone through your query.

A persistent salty taste in the mouth can have many possible causes, like dehydration, Gastroesophageal reflux disease, Side effect of certain medications, such as anti-thyroid medications and chemotherapy drugs. Salivary gland diseases, such as bacterial infection of the salivary glands (sialadenitis).
Post-nasal drainage, such as with a sinus infection (sinusitis) or allergies.

Are you having any symptom suggestive of the following illness and provide information about the drugs that you are taking, so as to provide you with more specific information.

Hope this helps.
Take care.
