What Causes Persistent Shortness Of Breath While On Angioprim Oral Chelation Formula?

Question: I am a 78 year old male, 5'7" with type 2 diabetes which I have had for about 20 years controlled with metformin otherwise reasonably good health. I have noticed short occasional bouts of shortness of breath for a few months now that has been getting worse after even mild exertion this last month or so. I am under extreme stress and depression since this last month my wife of 61 years has been hospitalized for chronic heart failure and after a series of tests was placed on dialysis with a 50/50 chance of permanent dialysis, this was caused by the contrast XXXXXXX used in the scans. this is where all my depression sleep problems and stress come from. I find now that even mild exertion leaves me breathless and weak and I must sit down for about 5-10 min till I can catch my breath and it passes. I assumed I had some heart blockage and decided to try a popular oral chelation product called angiopram to clear up any plaque build up that may be causing this problem since I need to be there for her. What is your opinion? Could all this be just stress related? Could this oral Chelation program be harmful?

Brief Answer:
Following advice.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

Your symptoms are typical for cardiac problems especially for coronary arteries blockage.

If you were my patient I would recommend to do the following examinations to find out what is causing your symptoms:
- Blood work
- Ecg
- Chest x-ray
- Cardiac echo
- Stress test
- Abdominal ultrasound

Only if all the above mentioned examinations will be normal than your symptoms may be stress related.

Chelation wouldn't help you to relieve your symptoms and to clear coronary plaques. Moreover, it has many side effects.

Hope this will be helpful!
Wish you health!
