What Causes Persistent Vibration In Ears, Dizziness And Blocked Ears?
need CT scan and hearing tests.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, Welcome to HCM,
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having ear blockage with dizziness. I would like to ask you few more details.
Is there any ear pain or ear discharge ?
Kindly get back to me with the details.
Based on your clinical details, it appears to be simple eusthachian tube blockage or BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo). As such, diagnosis of labrinthitis can only made on existing ear infection (pain, discharge and fever).
In my opinion, you need to undergo CT scan of temporal bone with hearing tests (pure tone audiogram with impedence audiometry) to rule out the cause of ear blockage and dizziness.
Normally, it takes 2-6 weeks will take for clearance of dizziness in active labrynthitis. In the mean time, you can do vestibular rehabilitation exercises (please ask your treating doctor or watch learning video in Youtube for exercises).
Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
