What Causes Pimple Like Welts On The Back, Head And Hands?

Question: 24-hrs ago I developed pimple-like welts on back, head and hands. Red and itching, but no pain. Each welt has a small red head on the center of it. Not painful. doesn't seem to be spreading beyond the initial outbreak

This could possibly be an urticarial skin rash.

I have a history of hives related to food allergies and aspirin or ibuprofen. Those hives, though, are small, short-lived and don't have a pimple-like head on them.

Possible Urticarial rash

Hello Sir.

These images resemble urticarial rash.

Possibly related to food allergy.

A short course of steroids and antihistamine medications will help to improve the rash quickly.

I generally prescribe oral pills of Prednisolone 5 mg and Levocetrizine 10 mg for 2 weeks to control these symptoms.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these pills to you.
