What Causes Pins And Needles Sensation In Hands And Feet
Question: Since starting medication for hypertension I have been experiencing pins and needles in hands and feet, especially in the evenings.
While my blood pressure is coming down since the medication was prescribed it is still in the hypertensive range.
I have measured my blood pressure as 135/94 while experiencing pins and needles in both hands and feet.
Is this unusual?

But, most of them went away with time, until the body got used to the certain medication. However, if this continues for a significant amount of time, it is best that this drug should be replaced with another drug from an another class of blood pressure-lowering agents, which may be well-tolerated by your organism.
