Detailed Answer:
Greetings and welcome to HCM. I carefully read your query and I understand your concern.
You see, every drug, no matter to what class it belongs and is encompassed to, has the potential to produce some side effects. Therefore, it is not unusual that this phenomenon is happening, especially in people who are using a certain drug for the first time. Since it may be also called a "foreign body" entering the organism, it may as well produce some symptoms, such as those you provided in your description. In my experience, I have had a lot of patiets complaining of various symptoms after being started on a certain medication. But, most of them went away with time, until the body got used to the certain medication. However, if this continues for a significant amount of time, it is best that this drug should be replaced with another drug from an another class of blood pressure-lowering agents, which may be well-tolerated by your organism.
I hope my answer is of help. I am happy to help, if you have follow-up questions.
Kind regards,
Dr. Meriton
