What Causes Poor Erection In A Diabetic Patient?
I have listed the symptom of dry orgasm, a fairly recent development in my case. My age is 83, I have been Type 1 diabetic for 53 years, and I have taken medications for several years to reduce hypertension and cholesterol buildup. For the past two years I have been unable to have a full erection although the sex drive is still there. Is this entirely normal, or is there something that could or should be done about it?
Thank you

Hello
Thanks for choosing wwwhealthcaremagic
There are 2 issues involved- problem in erection and lack of ejaculation.
lack of proper erection can cause lack of ejaculation due to fear of performance and anxiety
Poor erection can be due to reduced blood supply to penis due to ageing, Diabetes or hypertension. If all of these are controlled, you can try Sildenafil 25-100 mg 1 hour before sex. if it doesn't work, we still have plenty of options to consider.
Anejaculation can be age related, due to enlargement of prostate, or due to any drug you take. You may be ejaculating but instead of outside, it may be inside your urinary bladder. It is called Reterograde ejaculation. so get a urine test after masturbating to find presence of sperms. there are different treatments . Please revert back after urine test.
