What Causes Poor Eye Focus, Loss Of Balance And Slurred Speech?

Question: About 6 weeks ago I started having issues keeping my eyes open while driving or just texting on my phone. It is very hard to focus. It can take 20 minutes to write a 4 sentence text because I either zone out with my eyes open or closed. At any given time while driving my eyes want to close or i have to shake my head and try and focus. I am running off the road or into other lanes. Three weeks ago i was talking to my husband and all of sudden i could not balance myself with slurred speech that lasted about an hour. I had a cat scan and they didnt find anything but say to follow up with a neurologists. If they didnt find anything with a cat scan why go to a neurologists?

Since you had a normal CAT scan , the symptoms you are experiencing could be due to neuromuscular problems like myasthenia XXXXXXX Multiple sclerosis,motor neuron disease etc.
Confirmation of diagnosis is through blood investigations, Electromyography and nerve conduction studies.
Please follow up with neurologist as scheduled for further evaluation and management.
