What Causes Poor Sleep In Children?

Following suggestions...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns.
There is nothing worrisome. Some children act like your grandchildren. They are still very young and full of energy.
Now, I usually advise parents of children with the same sleeping problems as your grandchildren to avoid giving them:
- caffeinated drinks: cola, energetic drinks, etc.
- foods or candies that contain coffee
- avoid juices with extra sugar. Instead, homemade foods/drinks are the best choices
- avoid putting them asleep in the afternoon. It is better to make them asleep only before noon.
- let them play all the day, avoid staying in front of TV for too long. So, it will be easier for them to sleep at night (they will be exhausted).
- warm bathes can also calm them down and prepare to go to sleep.
It is good that you put them down at the same time at night, however, try not to get them involved in activities like playing music or massages. Just, put them inside their beds, and ask them to close the eyes and have sweet dreams.
It is a tough time to go through, but, you will succeed at the end. All the best!

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Thank you for following up.
If that is the case, then, it is because of the personality of the children. You need to be patient while they will grow up.
