What Causes Popping Noise In The Buttock After A Fall?
Question: I tripped and fell 3 days ago... I heard a crackle pop sound under my buttock... Instant pain... I've been icing and staying down for the last three days.. I don't have a lot of pain until i stand and try to walk.. Then there is sharp pain down the back of my thigh.. Hasn't gotten worse but really isn't much better... No swelling or bruising...

You history is definitely suggestive of an internal injury, may be of the bones and/or muscles attached.
I would advise you the following:
Continue strict resting unless proved of the exact diagnosis.
Combo study of MRI of the lower spine and CT scan of the pelvis including hip joint for getting the exact cause.
Clinical correlation with clinical examination and investigations will get you the correct diagnosis and hence the proper management.
Till then take a PPI and anti-inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen if it suits you.
