What Causes Popping Sensation In Foot?

Question: In the past three weeks or so I've noticed that when I move my foot in certain directions I feel a slight popping sensation in the top of my foot. When it pops I get a tingling feeling and my toes get numb momentarily. Does anyone have any suggestions or answers to what might be causing this?
Brief Answer:
You may be having vitamin B 12 deficiency
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. I want to say that you have two types of problems.
1. Popping sound from the foot is never due to any disease. This is seen in normal person also.
2. Tingling and numbness is either due to nerve compression or it can be due to vitamin B 12 deficiency. I would suggest you to take tablet Methyl cobal one daily for one month. I hope your symptoms will improve. If there is continuing symptoms then you need to get EMG /NCV of the foot.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
Thanks
