What Causes Post Laser Surgery Pain In Behind Thigh And Below Knee?
Question: I had laser surgery two weeks ago this Tuesday . The doctor was was suppose to clean up a prior surgery last February . I have worse pain now. It feels like I have pulled a hamstring, I have severe paint in burning pain in top of my thigh,lower front leg below knee. My skin is very sore to the touch. I have a lot of muscle weekness in right upper thigh.

Post laser surgery pain can be due to edema (swelling) around nerve leading to soreness also.
I will advise you to take strong opioid analgesic and anti edema medicine like Trypsin-chymotrypsin consulting your doctor.
If no relief then epidural injection shot may help.
If required may need to do MRI spine again to see for nerve compression.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and TENS therapy will help to reduce thigh pain.
