What Causes Post Nasal Drip, Nose Bleeds, Hoarse Voice And Lightheadedness?

Question: I have the following symptoms:
1. Post nasal drip (But dry nose)
2. Hoarseness of voice, need to clear throat constantly.
3. Light headache
4. Bleeding at nose.

I have deviated septum. Slight high eosinophil.
This is going on since last one month. I am not in a position to consult with ENT specialist. What can be the cause of above? What to do to mitigate it for a moment. I am out of XXXXXXX and will be back within 1 month, then I will consult with ENT specialist.

Thanks for the query.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

After reading your clinical history it appears that you are having allergic rhinosinusitis with DNS leading to PND , clearing of throat & Hoarseness .

If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice you
Steam Inhalation twice daily,
Saline nasal spray thrice daily like solspre ,
Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily ,
Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination at night ,
paracetamol for headache &
tab Vitamin C twice daily .

Don't remove crust from nose , fingernail trauma & dryness causing bleeding from nose .

You will get relief.

What to do to stop excessive bleeding?
Can it be the symptom of HIV?

I had an exposure before after 4.5 months I did antibody test which gave negative result.

Best way is prevention .

Thanks for the follow query.

Best way is prevention . Avoid crust removal by finger nail use saline nasal spray , cut all your nails if any & keep nose wet .

If excessive bleeding occurs , pinch anterior cartilage portion of nose for 5-7 min & take breath from mouth , most of time it will stop .
If not stop , consult doctor for nose packing .

No , it is not because HIV . No need to worry .
