What Causes Pressure Behind Eyes While On Flagyl?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
although doxycycline can also be used for the treatment of sinus infections, flagyl may sometimes cause problems with the sinuses (3-4%) and there is an almost 10% risk of headache.
Unless the bite got infected or there is high risk of infection (bite on the hand, immunosuppression, diabetes, deep wound, etc) it's probably safe to stop it. You'd better consult your doctor though, who has examined your wound and can tell whether there is increased risk for infection or not. Please take into account that most dog bites do not get infected. Other animal (and human) bites are much more dangerous regarding infections.

Detailed Answer:
I would rate the risk for infection in such an important area (the finger) as more important than the risk of sinusitis. And you only need to take it for one more day. Regarding your eye symptoms, sinus pain is not as important and the symptoms would probably wear off after your stop it. More serious problems are rare. But if you also have vision problems the situation would be much different, because flagyl may cause optic neuritis as well.
Kind Regards!
