What Causes Pressure In Throat Several Years After Removing Double-nodular Goiter?

Question: I had a double-nodular goiter removed approximately 25 years ago. One was on thee outside and the other was wrapped around the vocal cord & larynx. Now I am experiencing something in my throat that feels like pressure when I lower my chin. Can a goiter grow back?
