What Causes Pressure Sensation In The Chest And Lower Abdominal Area?
Most likely sprain but can be urinary tract infection also
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for choosing HCM,
As the problem started after lifting groceries most likely its muscular sprain. Its not necessary that a sprain or minor muscle injury always presents with XXXXXXX pain.
Most likely its not because of your due periods. As they usually present with spasmodic pain.
However frequent urge to urinate points toward possibme urinary tract infection which is very common in young females.I would suggest you to go for a urine routine and microscopy test to rule out any bacterial infection(Urinary tract infection). As in that case a broad spectrum antibiotic will be given for few days.
If it's normal start taking anti inflammatory analgesic like diclofenac for 2-3 days.Apply diclofenac gel or spray lovally over area of fullness.A proton pump inhibitor like Pantoprazole should apso be taken once daily empty stomach.
If not relieved on three days,Go for a ultra sound abdomen.
Thank you
