What Causes Pricking Pain In The Back?
Question: 1) Intermittent pins & needles in left hand basically from the wrist down front and back
2)to a lesser extent left side of lips and left foot.
I have just had a brain MRI and heart check and all were good.
Could it be a vitamin problem with nerves?

Brief Answer:
This is not due vitamin deficiency.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Vitamins problem would rather cause symmetrical symptoms. Not just on one side.
Pins and needles in left hand can be caused by a nerve compression in carpal tunnel (carpal tunnel syndrome). If so, you should feel pins and needles in first 3 fingers.
Spine issues (in cervical area) can give hand symptoms as well.
Left foot symptoms must be caused by a spine disc compression in a lumbal area. Spine MRI can explain that.
You may also feel pins and needles due to low calcium levels. But muscles spasms would be present as well.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
