What Causes Proteinuria?
Question: After a routine checkup my Doctor wants me to submit a urine sample to the lab. There was nothing to suggest anything out of the ordinary. It was simply routine, however I am reluctant to do so.
I have noticed that recently my urine is very yellow and sometimes there are bubbles in it (in the toilet). It hasn't been that way for long and I was waiting for it to be more "normal" before I submitted a urine sample.
What could be causing the yellow and/or bubbles? I have started drinking more coffee recently and I wonder if that could cause the change. I was also put on a Statin drug by my Cardiologist.
Also, should I get the urine sample first thing after I get up?
