What Causes Puffiness In Eyes While Using Bi-CPAP Machine?

Question: Yes, I have started using a bi-CPAP machine at night, they say I had 123 episodes in an hour so need the machine. The problem is my eyes have gotten very puffy, can see the bags when looking down and my eyes water now during the day, especially in the morning. Any suggestions or solutions to help would be appreciated.

Hi,

The recent use of bi-CPAP may or may not be related to the puffiness around the eyes. There are some serious causes added to it and some are non serious.

Since you have co factors like High BP, Thyroid and may be using some medicines. All of them should be taken seriously and further investigated to prove the benignity of the recent problem (puffiness around eyes).

Kidney problems, Heart disease, nutritional def, protein loss, steroid use, improper use of Bipap machine can all be related.
