Brief Answer:
seems to be vestibular migraine.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having noise in left ear. I would like to ask you few more details.
- Is there any dizzy spells ?
- Is your noise in the ear associated with hearing loss ?

Kindly get back to me with the details.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be vestibular migraine. I suggest you to visit ent surgeon - get detailed examination, otoscopy (status of ear drum), audiometry and vestibular tests (to differentiate from other causes of tinnitus) before considering treatment. Mean time, avoid consuming cheese, coffee and chocolates. Regular exercise and stress free life style.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

Thank you for your feedback.
No hearing loss. Feels like I can feel my heart beating in my ear. Just haven't experienced this before and have had migraines since I was 9years old. Grandmother died of a stoke at 55, and mom of a heart attack. Other than migraines, I'm in great shape, so probably just alittle paranoid.
They seem to be getting worse. I can excercise, but reducing stress is not an option.

Brief Answer:
Detailed history, Audiometry and otoscopy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,

Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.

Sounds in ear (tinnitus) could be due to ear related disorders or other organ disorders (anaemia, temparo mandibular joint disorder, thyroid hormone abnormalities). It is important that we rule out the aforementioned disorder before considering psychological reasons. Therefore I will suggest you follow the investigations to know the exact cause.

Hope, I have answered your query.

Take care.
