What Causes Puss In Stools?
Question: Ive noticed puss in my stools recently ranging from clear/white/yellowish..its a jelly like substance..should i be concerned?
Brief Answer:
Get a stool examination done
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Do you have pain while passing stools or has your stool frequency increased?
We need to to decide if its Pus or mucus as both can appear similar.
I would suggest you get a stool microscopy examination. In case it doesn't show presence of pus cells you need not be alarmed.
Hope this helps
