What Causes Radiating Pain In Calf Area After Having Cortisone Shot?
Question: I have had plantar faciits for over a year. in April I received, against my better judgement, a cortisone shot. Since that injection, my foot has gotten much worse. the pain is no longer in my arch, but under the back of my heel and sometimes radiates up my calf. the passed two weeks there is a swollen spot between my big toe and second toe on top of my foot. There is no pain there, but the swelling is concerning. What do you think is going on?
