What Causes Radiating Pain On Top Of The Head And Back?

Question: I have slight short duration pains on the top of my head toward the back also sometimes cannot remember names
Brief Answer:
Possible cervical disc disease.?Need further evaluation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.
I can certainly understand your concern.
I have worked through your query in detail.
This pain could possibly be related to spinal cord compression secondary to high cervical disc disease.
This requires an early assessment in the form of an MRI scan of cervical spine .
Further management if any will depend on test results.
Meanwhile ,I prescribe oral pills of Pregabalin and MethylCobalamin once daily for 2 weeks to reduce the severity of pain and progression.
Please check with your physician in he shares my view and if can prescribe these pills to you.
Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Do you think it may involve the brain since I have increased difficulty in remembering names
Brief Answer:
Need to rule out Alzheimer's disease.
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.
Cervical disc disease is not related to memory issues.
But Any degenerative disease process can involve multiple organs simultaneously.
Hence under this preview, degenerative changes can involve brain causing memory disturbances.
In order assess the cause and extent of this , I advise you to go for CT/MRI scan of the brain for further assistance in order to rule out Alzheimer's disease (early stages)
