What Causes Raised Red Rash On Stomach And Upper Leg/thigh Area?

There has been no change in my diet, bathing habits, cleaners, or degenerates. My husband is NOT having any similar symptoms not spots on him at all, so bed bugs and scabies is out. We have a cat, so I have checked him for fleas or ticks and he is clean.
Over the last 2 weeks I have been taking epson and oatmeal baths, to try and elevate itch and redness, they rash seems to get swollen after a bath. Nothing seems to be helping this rash go away, I have been drinking only water for the last 5 days, cut sugar out of my diet as much as I can. I have also been taking Benadryl for the last 5 days as well. I've tired eczema creams, tea tree oil, white vinegar, anything to clear up and treat my rash and nothing is working.
I would just like to know what this rash is so I can take the necessary precautions to get rid of it. Thanks for any and all help!

Hi
I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same .
I have seen the attached pictures .
I would like to have a close up look at any individual lesion. It would be great if you can click some close up pictures of a few skin lesions and upload them here on this page .
Also please tell if you have any larger lesions also anywhere over the body, even if only a few. Or all of these are such small coin type of lesions only.
Please mention specifically if you have any of these on the face and scalp as well?
Did you have a sore throat or cough prior to development of these skin lesions?
I am sure I will be able to help you more once you provide me the above details and the pictures .

Pityriasis rosea, self limiting skin condition
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
I have had a close look at the skin rash.
You seem to have developed pityriasis rosea .now this is basically a harmless skin condition.
This can lead to development of hundreds of round to oval slightly scaly reddish skin lesions over body over a period of four to six weeks. The lesions might appear in crops which means that every few days, there will be development of few new lesions.
Now the most important thing for you to understand is that this is a self limiting skin condition . This means that it will take its time to go and will heal completely by itself in four to six weeks. It is non contagious in nature . You simply need to take care of the associated itching by application of a topical steroid cream like cortisone mixed with a good moisturizer over the body two to three times a day. Keep your skin moisturized and hydrated by application of good moisturizers or oil over the body two to three times a day. You can take any oral antihistamine tablet like benadryl or tablet claritin for the associated itching .

Care of skin in pityriasis rosea
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
Yes, this seems to be pityriasis rosea only in my opinion.
It is basically an autoimmune skin condition . Just anybody can get it. But in most cases, it occurs only once in a lifetime.
So there is no need to worry about recurrence.
Also you should avoid itching as much as possible. You can moisturize the skin whenever there is itching. This will prevent any permanent scarring . Once the skin lesions heal up, there might be some visible scars but they all go away within a few months.
You can use any shampoo over scalp along with a moisturizer .
You can oil your scalp to decrease itching .
