Brief Answer:
it is possible for a foreign object to deposit in epidermis damaged by scra

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I have gone through your query and i have understood your concern. Though the skin which has most of its epidermis intact, as is the case with simple scratching, would still be considered largely impermeable however, it is possible for a microorganism e.g a virus Or a foreign body to deposit in the skin, if the skin was previously scratched which could have damaged the superficial horny/dead layers of skin. Can you be specific with your enquiry about which foreign body?

Brief Answer:
In this scenario it would be safe to assume that skin was not a portal of entry
Detailed Answer:
Hi.

I think it would safe to assume that if the skin was not visibly damaged, therefore it is not a portal of entry .

Brief Answer:
Skin would stay intact after a mosquito bite/ bite resulting in a wheal

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

A wheal or a mosquito bite would not compromise the barrier function of skin. In other words skin would be intact Or 'closed' and no foreign body can enter through it.
