What Causes Random Spasms In Left Rib Cage With Irregular Heart Rhythm?
Question: My wife ( age 54) noticed a strange pushing feeling just below her lowest rib on the left side below her breast. I felt it and it was not steady but random. A pulsing slight bulge that I could feel for 2 or 3 heart beats then if faded and dissapeared, reappearing about a minute later. She is one of THOSE people afraid of a dr visit and I am trying to encourage her to take this seriously. Could it be an Aneurysm?

If this could have been aneurysm, the pulsations should have been constant and would not fade away at all.
The strange pushing feeling with off beat pulsation can in fact be the muscle tics or twitches.
And this is easily confirmed by ultrasonography and color doppler examination , which is not an invasive procedure.
