Brief Answer:
Oral antihistaminics
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the images.
From keen review, I would like to put provisional diagnosis of delayed pressure urticaria (DPU).
Urticaria is a type of allergic skin rash.
DPU is a rare variant of urticaria where the chief cause/ allergen is pressure and here typically the rash occurs after delay of 6-8 hours and lasts for few days.
The rash occurs over the sites of chronic pressure and consist of raised welts which may be itchy or painful.
Its proper management requires a thorough consult with a dermatologist, who would advise certain investigations.
Treatment includes oral antihistaminics and oral corticosteroids. Topical corticosteroids can be applied over affected areas.
Other useful drugs are montelukast, cyclosporine, dapsone, omalizumab etc.
Try to avoid tight clothing and avoid chronic pressure or friction of any body area.
Hope you get well soon.
Thanks
