Hi
I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
I would like to have a look at the skin rash that you have in order to reach a diagnosis . Please click some close up pictures of the skin condition and upload them here on this page.
Also please tell what all creams have you been applying over it.
Any other areas of body involved?
Anything else you are applying over it in the form of oil or any other antiseptics?
Also please tell what diagnosis did your doctor made? Since you received three steroid injections, so did your doctor suspect an eczema?
I am sure I will be able to help you more once you provide me the above details and the picture. .

Hi again
From the description, it surely looks eczematous in nature though I would like to have a close look at it.
If you are unable to upload the pictures on this page due to any reason ., then you can mail them at YYYY@YYYY with heading as ref to Dr Geetika Paul .
Also I hope you do not use any harsh soaps or liquids like dettol or savlon over the affected area .
Do you , by any chance wear metallic belts or any such thing like plastic or metal which happens to touch the body at that area.
Please follow up with the pictures for better analysis.

Eczema skin, need long term care
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
I have seen the attached picture.
You definitely have an eczematous rash over your trunk region.
Now it is important for you to understand that such allergic rashes tend to be recurrent in nature.
They need to be treated on and off whenever they appear. They occur basically due to skin sensitivity to some particular thing which could be a soap , an oil, a moisturizer or powder or even sometimes clothes which are not cotton based.
So you try to figure out what is new in your routine since the time you have started developing this rash.
The treatment plan remains the same. You can use any topical steroid cream over the affected areas twice a day like clobetasol ointment or cortisone skin cream. In addition, it is important to keep the skin hydrated in the affected area by application of a good moisturizer two to three times a day. Wear only cotton based clothes as much as possible.
Hope it helps
