Brief Answer:
May be laryngitis but kindly get back with answers

Detailed Answer:
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. Excessive cry could have caused some laryngitis...meaning mild swelling of vocal cords due to excessive usage or crying. In this regard I would like you to get back to me with answers to these questions-
1. How is her breathing pattern, is it very fast?
2. Is she having stridor or noisy breathing every time she breathes in?
3. Is there any chest in-drawing or sucking in of skin in her neck region above her sternal bone during her inspiration?
4.How is her feeding pattern...is she able to feed well?
5. Is she wanting to be always with you for comfort?
Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.

she seems to be feeding as normal and is her smiling self. she is fine if she can see her dad or myself. her nose seems stuffy. no struggle when breathing just sounds like she has a cold. she had the rotovirus vac orally, is this the cause?

Brief Answer:
Rotaviral vaccine is not the cause

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for the trust in me and my advice. If she is feeding normally, there is no fast breathing and is smiling when she is comfortable with the parents, I don't think you should worry. Hoarseness of voice is not due to oral Rota viral vaccine. For stuffy nose you can use "saline" nasal decongestant drops. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. I wish your 4month old daughter good health and a bright future.
