Hi and thank you so much for this query.
Urine infection is common in girls because of the short urethra. Also, younger children as more exposed as hygienic measures are a concern. Her test results are suggestive of a urinary tract infection. With the pains in the tummy and fever, this might have possibly reached the kidneys. However, there is no reason to suspect kidney damage as the infection has been diagnosed and being managed. Infections damage the kidneys when they fail to be diagnosed properly and managed early. This is not the case with your girl.
In all, there is no kidney damage at this time. Urine infection are relatively more common in women and more so in young girls. Keep to treatment and increased fluid intake. All would be okay.
I hope this helps. I wish your daughter well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
NO!

Hi,
She is not having excess calcium levels in blood and or urine and would not develop calcium stones in the kidneys. Stones develop in persons with very high calcium levels in urine from illnesses that are not common in childhood. It would be extremely rare to say she would develop kidney stones just from over drinking formula.
I hope this answers your question.
