Muscle pain or bony pain
Detailed Answer:
Hi, Welcome to HCM,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Good to know your sugar levels and lipid profile is within the normal range. Your BMI is excellent.
2. It is important to differentiate if it is muscle pain or bone pain. If it is bony pain, the Vit D is strongly considered. Pressure on bones, can be painful. Additionally, an X-ray to identify, if any osteoporosis is starting will be necessary.
3. Being on a vegetarian diet, nutritional deficiencies particularly B-complex vitamins can be present leading on to anemia. If during your recent testing, hemoglobin was normal, the thyroid hormone profile evaluation maybe necessary, particularly hyperthyroidism.
4. Low-calorie diet is good, however, make sure it is protein rich ( atleast 1g/kg body weight per day). Concentrate on your hydration and maintain it well. Sleep at least 8-9 hours regularly at night. Avoid any stress and relaxation is essential.
5. Also, check, if the body ache is related to anything particular - bad day or any diet or any particular time. Do get back with more details, so that i can be more helpful.
Hope it helps.

Thyroid function tests and electrolytes evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for replying.
Good to know, all the tests done are within the normal range.
At present, looking at the muscular pain, only thyroid issues needs to be ruled out. Do get a thyroid hormone profile at the earliest. Along with it, do get the electrolytes checked. Cramping muscles are seen in potassium abnormality.
As there is no specific issues, starting a line of treatment is difficult.
However, if the thyroid results are normal and body pain is involving both upper and lower limbs, then evaluation of a condition called as fibromyalgia will be necessary.
Additionally, do let me know, if you have pain only during day hours or even during sleep or does the body pain start at rest also. Do describe the type of pain - cramping, dull, pulling, etc. If pain is severe, painkillers can be taken (make sure, painkillers are not taken on an empty stomach)
During pain, heart rate increases and palpitations are common and nothing to be worried about.
However, at present, concentrate on your hydration and sleep. Avoid stress.
Do get the tests done.
Hope it helps.

Neuropathic pain due to nutritional deficiency
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for replying.
Good to know your thyroid and electrolyte levels are within normal range.
1. As there is no cramps, I would think less of muscular cause and more of neuropathic cause.
2. There are many causes of neuropathy. Looking at your clinical history, vegetarian diet, possibly no alcohol life style, I would think more of a nutritional cause.
3. You need to take Vitamin supplements composed of Vit B12, B6 and alpha lipoic acid. This should be taken for at least 2-3 months to notice improvement. Also, concentrate on good hydration too.
Hope it helps.

Neuravite can be tried.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for replying.
I would suggest any vitamin composed of B1, B6, B12 and alpha lipoic acid. You can try Neuravite. If that brand is not available, any brand composed of all the above should help. Your pharmacist can guide you regarding this and can suggest alternate brands if neuravite is not available.
Hope it helps.
