What Causes Recurrent Itching Sensation On Buttocks Despite Treatment?

Question: I've had an itchy bottom on and off for many years. I used to see a doctor but nothing helped. I'm a tree surgeon so I usually wear thick chainsaw trousers which make you sweaty and we've put it down to that for the last few years. Washing rather than wiping and Aloe Vera gel afterwards helped for a while but no longer.
For the past few months I've not been wearing chainsaw trousers so I expected the skin to improve. It has not. It has been a stressful couple of months (new baby in hospital) I took a photo of it last night and it looks worse than ever. I could provide you the photo?

Brief Answer:
Fungal infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the photograph.
It is looking like fungal infection.
I treat such cases with a combination or oral and topical anti fungal agents.
A combination of topical clotrimazole and oral fluconazole works well.
It gives excellent response within a month.
You can try this in consultation with your doctor.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
