Brief answer..treatment would require an antibiotic course according to culture and general hygiene measures
Detailed answer....
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your problem very well.
Recurrent staph infections ( MRSA ) is a hard to control problem but with proper antibiotic course and specific hygiene measures ,it can be definitely brought to control.
I would advise you the following..
Muciprocin ointment to be applied in both nostrils and around anus twice a day( to decolonize your nasal passages as mostly these are responsible for recurrent infections )
Bath with chlorhexidine soap
Not sharing towels and clothes
Trimming of nails
Getting the pus culture done from the boils along with nasal swab test and then taking proper antibiotic course according to the culture.
You can consult a dermatologist and discuss with him on the above mentioned lines and get the treatment.
With proper treatment you shall definitely become all right.
I hope it helps however you may revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
