What Causes Recurring Flu Like Symptoms And Red Spots In Spine?

Question: I have a condition whereupon I have flu like symptoms for a few days and during that period, or when it's over, a red spot will appear at the base of my spine. Often I'll have the flu like symptoms for a few days and no dot will appear. I'm am very sweaty and clammy most days now it seems.

Hello and welcome
I appreciate your concern
The relationship of the spot appearing with the flu symptoms or when it's over, don't relate to each other.
Please upload an image of the area where the spot occurs or the spot itself.
For the excessive sweating, I would recommend evaluation of the thyroid via thyroid function tests including tsh.
Let me know if you have any query
Wishing you best of health
Thanks

I have uploaded photo of spot as requested. I would have to disagree that the spot and the flu like symptoms are unrelated. One always happens with the other.
Thank you.
Thank you.
