Brief Answer:
Diabetics are more prone to infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Diabetics are more prone to infection.
As the pus is coming out, regular cleaning and dressing is essential.
Her blood sugar levels have to be normal.
Simple infection of the hair follicle can lead to this type of condition. The pus will be collected beneath the skin. It will not penetrate the muscle. Simple incision of the swelling will let out the pus.
If the abscesses are occuring in the lower limb,The commonest source of infection is Anal canal. That area has to be kept clean.
As the swelling increases gradually, Antibiotics and anti inflammatory tablets have to be started when it is small.Blood sugar has to be checked and kept under control. You can send the pus for culture and sensitivity and use appropriate antibiotic.
Hope I answered your query.
If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish her good health.

Thank you for your clarification Doctor. I will take her to a physician tomorrow.

She was a healthy and active, fun loving person.
But now she could not even stand up and sit for a short while.
She says she is too weak to stand or sit and keeps lying in the bed most of the time.
She has lost her weight and became too thin in a month's time.
Is that a serious issue?

Please advise me on what is the problem she is having with and how to improve her health.

Thank You.

Brief Answer:
She has to be investigated.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
As per her medical history, she had tuberculosis 3 yrs back.Hope she took allopathic treatment course for TB.Otherwise, it will make her weak.
Her Thyroid hormone levels have to be checked. Can you clarify whether she is hypothyroid or hyperthyroid. There will be loss of weight in spite of good appetite in hyperthyroidism.
I think she is not responding to homeopathic treatment.
Please take her to a physician /Endocrinologist and proceed.
Nothing to worry.
She will be alright.
Wish her good health.

Her sugar levels are not under control.

Hi
Blood sugar level of 270 is high. It has to be controlled. Dosage of the medicines have to be adjusted. This is the cause of frequent infections.
Please consult your physician /Endocrinologist and get appropriate treatment.
Nothing to worry.
