What Causes Recurring Sharp Pain Under The Right Breast?

Question: I am having a short but sharp pain under the right breast since yesterday evening. the pain is short duration and not regular. it is coming and going. please suggest. I am taking MET XL and homeopathic treatment for BP.

Sharp Pain at the site mentioned by you could be due to

1. Stones in Gall Bladder.
2. Liver Infection.
3. Kidney Stones.
4. Hyperacidity.
5. Lung Problem ( Plerisy )

I need to know more information on your pain.

1. Does the pain increases on having food ?
2. Do you have any fever?
3. Does the pain increases on taking deep breath?
4. Do you have any cough?
5. Is there any vomiting or nausea?

Kindly let me know these details .

For the time being you can take Combiflam tablet and observe. If pain doesn't resolve you may have to get certain tests to be done.

no fever
no increase in pain taking deep breath
no cough noted.

That narrows down the diagnosis to

1. Liver infection.
2. Gall stones or Infection of Gall bladder.
3. Kidney stones .

I would recommend you to get ultrasound abdomen scan, Liver function test and urine routine test done and revert back with reports.
