Hi!
Welcome to health care magic!
Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible.
Based on the history you have shared, will you please clarify that whether it is tingling only or you experience some itching or redness there as well? As mostly skin conditions like fungal infections like tinea may present like there due to dampness or excessive sweating or pressure effects while walking and all. In such cases, keeping the skin dry and using topical antifungal like econazole will help. Meanwhile it also needs to be differentiated from other skin conditions like psoriasis or dermatitis. If it is only tingling which you are experiencing it can be due to nerve involvements supplying the topical skin or any disruption in blood flow. Get that examined for detailed skin and neurological involvement as well as pulses comparison by your GP and using duloxetine or gaba pentins may be helpful for tingling and supplements of vitamin B12 and folic acid are helpful for long term betterment. Also get screened for random blood sugars.
Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Thank you for the general answer.
I had the skin problem in the groin area about one year ago. It was likely intertrigo and it was treated successfully with an absorbent powder. At that time, the skin was red and itching badly but there was not any tingling or vibration like symptoms.
At present, the skin does not show any redness or irritation. Clearly, it is not a skin problem this time.
Lately, the tingling/vibration has been shifting into my penis from the groin area. As you suggest, it may be due to involvement of nerves. It seems to me that it could be lumbar spinal stenosis. Are there good tests to pin down the diagnosis? Are there any simple treatments to minimize this problem?

May need imaging of lumbar spine and nerve conduction tests

Hi! Thanks for sharing your concerns and feedback in such a nice way and apologies for catching you up a little late.
Since there are no signs of skin involvement, and you have agreed with the postulation with the likelihood of nerve involvement, at this stage it necessitates the need of a detailed neurological examination of lower limbs to look for any sensory level and if need X-ray of lumbar spine and even CT or MRI if signs of nerve entrapment are suspected.
Also the levels of B12 and Folic acid can be reconfirmed. You asked for the symptomatic relief so using Duloxetine or Gabapentins may help with the symptoms. Meanwhile B12, D3 and folic acid replacement may be started and can give good results.
Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
