What Causes Recurring Tingling Sensation In Right Arm, Leg And Eye Twitching?
Given your age and duration of symptoms, observe only for now!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this pin and needle sensation that you have reported. This sensation could be related to a nerve problem. However, the short duration, and your age makes this unlikely. Also, they are not suggestive of a single nerve being affected (arms and legs and eyelids) and in this case makes it more likely to be a transient and non pathological observation/symptoms than a disease condition. To me, stay positive, optimistic and relaxed. Do not seek for any immediate aggressive investigation at this time unless these symptoms persist or something else such as pain or muscle weakness or loss of sensation comes up. I will also recommend a healthy diet and regular physical exercise as these are great in alleviating transient symptoms. For now, no neurologist consult. Follow up with me and I will guide you through this process.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
Vitamin deficiency will not come and go!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If this were vitamin deficiency, the symptoms would be permanent and would only resolve after treatment. This is not the case with you. Am of the opinion that these are purely transient and have no real cause. If the headaches were possibly associated with this, believe me it will not also be transient. Are you on any medications for high blood pressure? Is your age 29 or is there a typo error there? This is because any high blood pressure diagnosis as 29 is concerning and needs to be thoroughly investigated as most will have an associated cause as opposed to adults.
I wish you well and hope to have more exchanges on this.
Check the blood pressure numbers again!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have a feeling the blood pressure reading has not been well reported. Can you help me verify and report the value again? I will comment in full with the above information when it gets here.
I hope to hear from you.
This is not diagnostic of hypertension!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Hypertension is defined as blood pressure greater than 140/90mmHg. Your value is lower than this and not diagnostic of hypertension. I wouldn't have put you on any medications. However, lifestyle modifications are very important.
1. Exercise often, at least 150mins per week.
2. No alcohol
3. No smoking
4. Minimal salt intake
5. Healthy diet and control your weight gain.
6. Stay positive and minimize stress
7. Be active.....IF walking is an option and very feasible, always take that.
8. Monitor your blood pressure monthly.
I am sure these would help and should keep your blood pressure controlled for long. If it gets out of the normal range, at that time will I request for medications and only at that time.
I hope this helps. I wish you well.
