What Causes Red And Purple Marks On Head Of Penis?
Question: I have redish/purpleish marks on the head of the penius. They are on the rim of the head. Also on the tip on either side of the opening. Not very attractive. Is there any cream or ointment I can apply that will help.

No associated pain or itching. I have tried Medaderma or Neosporin in the past. Isn't their something on the market more effective to attack the spots? How do I upload the pictures I took?

You seem to have developed lesions of lichen planus over the penile region . Now this is basically a harmless skin condition .
You need to apply cortisone cream over the affected areas twice a day . This will help in reducing the lesions.
