Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM...
You gave very short history. You developed red rash on right thigh with itching. I would like to ask few questions...
- is it for the first time? Or previously you had similar rash?
- do you feel burning or pain besides itching?
- any other site affected?
- past history of any disease or medication?
- family history of any disease?
- do you have any internal disease like DM...?
- do you apply any cream on this rash?
- is the rash is spreading?
- please describe rash..patch,small bumps,infected,oozing serum or pus..etc
Kindly reply and upload the photos of affected rash,so that I guide you in managing your problem.
Awaiting your reply..
Thanks with best wishes..

Insect bite dermatitis most probably
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back...
Lot of thanks for the nice photos.
After seeing photos, I deeply feel that the lesion you developed may be insect bite dermatitis most probably.
There is an erythematous and bruised patch with mild scaling in a peculiar pattern. I think, the rash you might have found in the morning. There is a possibility of any insect sticked to the right thigh and would have rubbed during the sleep. The toxin of insects body would have caused such rash... Do not worry, the rash would reduce in few days.
Still, you consult the dermatologist for the firm diagnosis and treatment.
To have quick recovery, I would suggest as follow...
- apply the cream of combined mild steroid and antibiotic...Like Eumosone- G cream
- take antihistaminics like levocetirizine 5 mg at night to relieve itchy sensation
- take antibiotic to prevent secondary infection
- if needed, oral steroid in tappering dose for 2 to 3 weeks
- avoid soap bath
- make living areas insects free.
Above tips may be followed after consulting your doctor.
You may be improved after few days to few weeks.. So, do not be worried..ok
I hope this would be helpful to you..
Wishing you early recovery..
Thanks.
