Hello,
Do they itch? Have you seen the kid scratching? Insect bites are usually itchy?
How long since the rashes been there? Are there any associated symptoms like fever?
Unfortunately I have not received any images. I request you to kindly upload a few images of the affected area in Reports Section so that I am able to have a look and guide you accordingly.
Hope to assist you further once I get the images.

Brief Answer:
Papular Urticaria
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Yes, they do seem like papular urticaria which is a hypersensitivity reaction to insect bites. Infants and children can have an exaggerated reaction.. I suggest you to use a moderately potent topical steroid and antibiotic combination ointment e.g. Fluticasone propionate 0.05% and Mupirocin 2% combination (Flutibact ointment). In addition I suggest you to give 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) of syrup levocetirizine 2.5mg/5ml, once every evening.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
