Red rashes on glans penis are usually due to the following:
1. Male candidiasis (fungal infection)
2. Balanitis (inflammation of the glans penis due to various reasons)
3. Dermatitis (skin allergies)
4. Due to manual friction (eg vigorous sex or masturbation)

If you noticed improvement after applying clotrimazole, betamethasone and neomycin, then it is most likely due to a fungal infection. However, the condition can be confirmed only after consulting a dermatologist. Very often the problem does not get cured completely because of the local conditions in the genital area like too much sweating, wearing tight inner clothes and not allowing your inner clothes to dry enough (moist clothes) or someone who does not maintain adequate genital hygiene.

You please apply the ointment and maintain genital hygiene. Sometimes the infection may get severe enough and may need oral anti fungal medicines for complete treatment. If you see no further improvement in your condition even after taking above mentioned steps then please consult your doctor.
