What Causes Red Rashes On Penis After Sexual Intercourse?
Question: Hi, I had sex with my partner two days in a row but after the second day I woke up to find red splotches/marks on my penis. There's no pain, not really any itching and no real discomfort so I assumed it was just something like thrush so I used moisturiser on it and avoided sex. The marks became less noticeable but I started to experience extremely mild discomfort in my left testicle so I started using hydrocortisone cream and the marks all disappeared and the discomfort lessened over the course of three days. However, I had sex last night and the red marks came back instantly and I've started the same process again but am worried it might be something serious. Any help?
Brief Answer:
Could be due friction
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
The rash is likely to be due to friction associated with traumatic intercource.
Further assessment of severity of rash is possible after clinical examination. It would be helpful if you could revert back to me with clinical photograph for further assessment and advise.

Unfortunately I don't know how to attach an image to the response but that is what I thought it might be but I'm quite paranoid about sti's and std's even though it's an unlikely possibility for me. Is it normal that almost instantly the marks came back during sex and then went away within a few hours through the application of the gel? Also there seems to be a slight bit of swelling at the tip of the penis however there are no spots, no burning sensations and no significant pain. The discomfort in the left testicle comes and goes with varying degrees but I never even notice it when pre occupied with other things so I don't think it is bad and I have also checked to make sure there is no lumps or red marks on them.
Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be STD
Detailed Answer:
Dear Mr XXXXXXX
Every STD has incubation period. That is time from exposure to development of lesion. Lesion which appear so quickly after intercourse and disappearing so quickly are unlikely to be STD.
