What Causes Red Rashes On The Body, Fever, Weakness And Dry Mouth?

Question: i have red dots all over my skin, its 6th day since i caught fever. i have done degue test ns1 twice and i think that was negative. i am getting fever once a day but not more than 99.5 . weakness is there and dry mouth. i am taking lot of fluids n precautions. i am also seeing a physician and he has started dealing this just as dengue and suggested this could be viral with similar symptoms.

i am concerned about these red rashes now. they are all over my body everywhere. shall i test for something else or take some med otherwise. attaching reports.

i understand your concern. It looks like rash due to dengue. A dengue rash develops after 2 to 5 days after fever. It will subside on its own. In case it is very itchy and dry, I would suggest you to use cetaphil or calamine moisturising lotion. Continue hydrating yourself adequately and take plenty of rest.

Monitor your platelet count everyday till the counts come in normal range.

In case your symptoms persists or worsens it is best to meet your treating doctor for a detailed examination and treatment.
