What Causes Red Rashes Under The Thighs?
Regards
SK
There is need for prolonged application
Detailed Answer:
Dear Saikrissna,
Thanks for using Health care magic.
Rashes around the thighs especially during rainy season indicates the possibility of fungal infection which is further confirmed by use of anti fungal creams followed by response.
However I like to inform you that there is need to apply the anti fungal cream for long time to see the complete eradication. It is true that one or two application of cream eliminates them superficially but the core of fungal infection remains there only. With regular application it will be possible to eradicate them all together. In my opinion use it continuously for atleast one month.
I also feel that there is need to avoid tight clothing. Try to use loose clothing as far as possible.
I hope this helps you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks and regards.

Detailed Answer:
Dear SK,
Thanks for reverting back to me.
I have visualised the pictures and it seems to be ring worm infection a form of fungal infection.
It will be better if you can apply either miconazole or clotrimazole based anti fungal cream on all affected areas. It is rightly possible that with contious treatment it will be eradicated over time.
At the same time for itching use either clorpheniramine 4 mg or evil 25 mg at bed time. This will manage the itching symptomatically.
In regard to your wife if she have similar pattern of symptoms same treatment can be used. In case there is difference it will be better if you can see a dermatologist for first consultation.
I hope this helps you.
Feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards.

It is fungal
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for follow up.
The lesions shown in the attached images are fungal and not the viral. However they get transmitted during the intimate contact and can be called as sexually transmitted infections.
It will be better if you can avoid sex during course of treatment so there is no transfer of infection once treated.
