Posted on Fri, 11 Sep 2015
Question: Hi my name is XXXX ,two weeks ago as I was washing my penis I noticed a red blodge on the bottom of the XXXXXXX and on foreskin ,I went to the doctor and he prescribed me kenacomb stating it was a fungal bacterial infection .now it's been two weeks the size of the red mark has reduced but still obviously there when I wash the penis ,I have no itch or pain during urinating ,only when the warm water hits the spot during washing it might slightly sting ,do I need to worry and should I continue with the ointment .thankyou
Just to let you know doctor I am married ,never had any sti issues and always keep my self clean regularly ,the biggest problem I must admit was a few weeks ago I used tee tree oil on my penile XXXXXXX ,stupid of me ,it stinged and quickly washed it not sure why I did this just been over clean conscience .

Nneed antibiotic.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted and photograph that you have uploaded it appears that you have developed inflammation of Coronal Sulcus of the glans penis mostly due to allergic reaction to tree oil.
.
You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily .along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.

It should get healed up within 2 weeks.
