Question: Hello Doctor

I have an penis , which is itching for past few days.

I usually find rashes or red patches under skin of my penis/ glans penis regularly which disappears after few days after applying candidb cream or simply by itself after cleaning or keeping good hygiene.

However for past few weeks there is a Pain / inflammation at the skin joint. Not sure if it's same yeast related rash, it could be ulcer.

What do I apply, candidb cream does not appear to work for 2-4 days.

Brief Answer:
You have Muco Cutaneous Genital Candidiasis and need to rule out Diabetes .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

You are getting repeated infections of foreskin and glans which get cured with anti fungal cream (Candid cream).

Repeated genital infections of genitals are known to occur commonly in a individual with Diabetes ,

I would suggest you to get your blood sugar levels on empty stomach and two hours after lunch done to rule out or confirm about the diabetes .

Take antibiotics like Cefriaxome and anti fungal medication Fluconanzole twice daily along with topical anti fungal cream like Candid Cream \

Proper control of Diabetes is mandatory to prevent getting recurrent fungal genital infection

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.
